Duty & Load Profile

WhatDryer & Laundry Buyers Should Define

High-Inertia Drum with Frequent Start-Stop and Reversing Cycles/Cyclic Operation with High Inertia and Repetitive Direction Changes/Repetitive Cycling Under Thermal Stress and Variable Load/Drum-Driven Load with Frequent Cycling and Airflow-Constrained Cooling

Define these inputs (we'll help):

Drum inertia

Duty

long warm runs, repeated cycles

Environment

high temperature + humidity zones

Electrical

DC/AC variants and switching logic (program-defined)

Common Failure Triggers:

Underestimated Start Torque → Stall → Overheating

Temp Rise Margin Ignored → Early insulation failure under continuous load

Wrong Protection Strategy → Water ingress & Corrosion

SUPPORT & FAQ

How do we define drum torque requirement?
Drum torque requirement is defined by the worst-case load scenario rather than nominal operation. This includes maximum drum inertia with wet load, startup torque during full drum rest, friction variation over time, and direction changes if reversing is involved. Buyers should specify drum diameter, maximum load weight, acceleration time, and expected start-stop frequency. Torque must be defined at the shaft under cold start and high-temperature conditions to ensure consistent performance across the full appliance lifecycle.

All products meet CE and UL certifications. Materials comply with RoHS and REACH. Our factories hold ISO9001 and IATF16949 certifications. Every motor undergoes rigorous electrical safety, mechanical performance, appearance, and dimensional inspections before shipment. Batch sampling includes load characteristics, temperature rise, and life expectancy tests, accompanied by certification and test reports.

The MOQ is 500 units. Samples are chargeable and can be delivered within 15 days; sample cost is refundable upon batch order. Batch delivery time is 25-30 days. We offer expedited communication and production for urgent projects.

Heat and humidity accelerate insulation aging and corrosion simultaneously, making material selection critical. High thermal-class winding insulation is essential to withstand repeated heat cycles, while moisture-resistant coatings protect against condensation during cool-down phases. Shaft seals, bearing protection, and connector orientation also play key roles in preventing moisture ingress. The goal is not absolute sealing, but controlled protection that avoids trapped moisture and long-term insulation degradation.

Multi-voltage programs require defining a common performance envelope rather than identical output at all voltages. This includes clarifying acceptable speed and torque variation, thermal limits at low voltage, and efficiency expectations at high voltage. Motor design must account for winding configuration, control strategy, and protection thresholds that adapt across voltage ranges. Validation focuses on worst-case voltage conditions to ensure stable operation without overheating or loss of torque margin.
